ASOCIACIÓN INTERNACIONAL PARA LA HISTORIA Y EL PATRIMONIO DE LOS TRANSPORTES FERROVIARIOS

De Internationale Vereniging voor de Geschiedenis en het Erfgoed van de Spoorwegen wil het historisch onderzoek van de spoorweggeschiedenis bevorderen, evenals het behoud van het historisch, cultureel, industrieel en sociaal erfgoed van deze sector.
De vereniging werd in 2002 opgericht op gemeenschappelijk initiatief van universiteiten, wetenschappelijke en culturele organisaties, musea, spoorwegondernemingen en een aantyal individuen, allen geïnteresseerd in het bestuderen en bewaren van archieven en andere vormen van erfgoed van het spoorweggebeuren.

L'Association internationale pour l'histoire et le patrimoine des transports par rail à pour objectifs de développer la recherche historique et d'encourager la conservation du patrimoine historique, culturel, industriel et social des transports par rail dans le monde.
L’AIHCF a été constituée en 2002 à l’initiative commune d’universitaires, d’associations scientifiques, de musées, d’entreprises ferroviaires, d’institutions scientifiques et culturelles et de personnes intéressées à l’histoire et à la sauvegarde des archives et du patrimoine historique et culturel des transports ferroviaires.

The International Association for Railway History and Heritage is born with the aim of being the spur for the historical research and of promoting the conservation of the historical, cultural, industrial and social patrimony of rail transportation all over the world.
The IRHA was established in 2002 out of a joint initiative of universities, scientific societies, railway museums, scientific and cultural institutions and people interested in the history and safeguarding of the archives and historic and cultural heritage of rail transport.

La Asociación Internacional para la Historia y el Patrimonio de los Transportes Ferroviarios tiene como objetivos desarrollar la investigación histórica y fomentar la conservación del patrimonio histórico, cultural, industrial y social de los transportes ferroviarios en el mundo.
La AIHF fue constituida en 2002 por iniciativa común de profesores universitarios, asociaciónes científicas, museos ferroviarios, empresas operadoras, instituciones científicas y culturales y de personas interesadas por la historia y la protección y conservación de los archivos de empresa y del patrimonio histórico y cultural generado por el ferrocarril.
