This is the welcome page to
visit the industrial, technical and scientific heritage in
Flanders, industrial monuments and preserved industrial sites,
museums of science and technology, volunteer groups campaigning to
save steam engines, old tools, wind and watermills, old breweries,
railway stations and steam locomotives, ... Archives and libraries
holding information on industrial history and the history of
science and technology.

De Vlaamse Vereniging voor Industriële
Archeologie vzw is hét vrijwilligersplatform voor studie,
behoud en ontsluiting van industrieel erfgoed, het technisch
erfgoed en het wetenschappelijk erfgoed in Vlaanderen en
Brussel. Wij zetten ons - samen met tal van vrijwilligers - in
voor de redding van ons industrieel, technisch en wetenschappelijk
verleden.
De VVIA werd in 1978 opgericht en is daarmee één van
de oudste verenigingen voor industriële archeologie in
Europa.
In 2008 vieren wij ons 30-jarig bestaan
